I'm very pleased that I was able to book this for December 29th. One of my DGD, who will be 8 then, especially likes Stitch. I know characters can change, but is he usually there?

Does anyone have any comments on the food, or the experience? We'll be coming from BWV, we have a 9:05 ADR. If we leave for the MK by bus around 7:30, I'm guessing we could make it. We would take the monorail from the MK.

Does that sound right?

Thank you.

Hi Bobbi - yes, Stitch should be there. It's normally Lilo, Stitch, Mickey & Pluto (I don't think Minnie is there that I recall).

I love 'Ohana breakfast, even though I don't like 'Ohana for dinner much. I think your transportation plan will work fine.

Thank you! I was surprised that I could get this ADR since it's for 7 people, and for just the time I wanted. I think it's going to be fun.:goodvibes

This is one of my favorite character meals.. Stitch is SO much fun and was just a hoot the last time I was there. The food was VERY good. It is the normal breakfast fare but it was hot and fresh. The one is really fun for the kids as they get musical insterments and make a prade with the characters around the resterant. LOADS of fun.

Although the characters scheduled to appear are never guaranteed, you should see Mickey, Pluto, Lilo & Stitch. Being at the bus stop at 7:30 should get you to the poly in plenty of time for your 9:05 adr (we usually plan on an hour before our adr time and we have made it in time for our adr) - and you are correct: take the bus to MK and then the monorail to the Poly. Ohana breakfast is a favorite of ours: good food served family style, characters lead fun parade around restaurant for kids who play maracas, very good character interaction - Pluto & Stitch are hilarious!

This is great! I have been sending the comments to the family, so I'm not the only one who's glad I got the ADR!

I'm parphraseing a post I made on the review boards a few days ago about the character interaction at Ohana's Breakfast.

I normally carry a Stuffed Stitch doll around with me when we visit the resort. This was the story of one of my breakfasts at Ohana's.

On this visit Stitch wasn't as interactive as normal but Pluto stole the show. He picked up my Stitch & was playing with him. He then proceeded to take him over to the food prep area in the center of the restaurant and placed him on a platter. He pretended to season & spice him, sprayed some cooking oil (not really on Stitch) and then shoved Stitch in the oven. The entire restaurant was hysterical. My friends were eating it up because they put up with my habit of dragging my Stitch everywhere we go at the resort. After a few minutes Pluto brought the well done Stitch back to our table. A while later Pluto did a similar routine with a smaller Stitch that a child had brought with them. They were presented with theirs on a platter when Pluto was done roasting it. It may have been an off day for the Stitch character but it was by no means a disappointing meal due to the interaction with the other characters, Pluto especially.

So anything can happen at a character meal at Ohana's. We are booked to go again during our F & W trip in October, Stitch & I can't wait.

We are a party of 2 adults and did the Stitch breakfast in 2007 when we had the free dining plan. We loved it so much that we're doing it in 6 weeks even tho we have to pay this time.

Character interaction was great and the food was yummy, especially the bread,,,,can't wait.

'Ohana character breakfast was one of our very favorite meals at Disney. We've done it once and would definitely love to do it again. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Character interaction was good too. I was initially worried there wouldn't be enough food options/choices because it doesn't have nearly as many as the breakfast buffets, but it was more than enough - especially since it was all so incredibly tasty!! You'll love it!

This was my favorite breakfast of the week. I enjoyed the pineapple bread, seasoned potatoes, & sausage links. DD enjoyed shaking her maraca and marching behind Stitch in the parade. All of the other info. you have been given by previous posters has been true for me as well.

We really enjoy this one! The atmosphere is cozy and fun. The food is very good, and the kids have a blast. The parade that goes around the restaurant is a hit with the kids and the characters are wonderful! I think your timing sounds good, the earlier the better to arrive, as it gets packed! Have fun!

Stitch should definetly be there. I love thsi breakfast. YUM They do a cute little parade with the kids and there is great music. Yummy pineapple bread. Have fun!
