Character breakfast, Animal Kingdom...

Hi all...

Only 4 days to go now

I have just booked a PS for the Donald's Breakfastasaurus on the first morning of our holiday at 8.20am...

However...

1. We have to redeem our 'Character breakfast voucher' that was part of our 10 day world pass, at the Guest Services which is, I believe, just inside the turnstiles.

2. How can we do this if the park opens at 9am, and

3. How do we get to the 8.20am PS if the park opens at 9am and we need to get to the buffet in Dinoland?

Heck, I'm puzzled!

No worries, Alton - Disney have this one covered! The CMs will let you into the parks for breakfast PSs before park opening. At AK there is even a separate entrance at the far right of the turnstiles for Breakfastosaurus. Guest Relations, however is to the far left (and inside, as you say).

I am guessing that the CMs will allow us access to the Guest Relations bit to somehow redeem our Virgin voucher for the Character Breakfast Voucher...also, as I understand it, you have to have park entry in order to do a C. breakfast, and we have to take our 10 day WP to any Disney Guest Services...

So I guess what I'm saying is...we have two vouchers to redeem for actual voucers/passes but we'll need a Guest Relations place to do it at AK at 8am...will Disney have THIS covered? (fluster fluster!)

Just called Disney Dining...yes you can have access to Disney Guest Relations at AK to redeem Virgin vouchers prior to the character breakfast. Huwwah!

Hi Alton,
Don't worry Everything is so organised when you get there they will sort everything out for you.
If I can suggest one thing it would be to allow plenty of time to get there, park up and make your way to the gates ( you know what its like faffing about getting the bags etc out of the car, going back as you have forgotton something !!) Anyway due to you having an early P.S time before the park officially opens you wont have such a long walk from the parking lot, but once you get to the gate's they will take your details and generally call your party up.
This can take about 1/4 of an hour or so and then your D.C.M will walk you to the restaurant.
We have had the donalds breakfast twice and love it ,the food is always brilliant the staff are always brilliant and the charactors interact well, You will have a ball and i'ts so nice to have that time as even if your in there an hour, the park wil have only just have opened and still seem quiet
Anyway have fun enjoy and if you haven't been to see the lion king get there early , you wont regret it.

Thank you C.Chops! Now I'm HYPER hyper!!! We thought AK would be a good first day as it seems potentially less frantic than the other parks and we wanted to be up early to see the animals larking about. We then planned to do the safari as well, but the LK experience is definitely on our list...we'll have to check out the times.

Hi, i too have booked Donald's brekkie at AK i was wondering if you have to do the vouchers at Animal kingdom or if i can exchange the vouchers at any other park ??

Hi David...

If you have Virgin character breakfast vouchers, these must be taken to AK guest servies to redeem them...the Disney park hopper/world pass vouchers can be exchanged for the actual ticket at any of the main Disney theme parks.
