On our next trip to DLRP we will be going with my SIL and 5 year old nephew so for the 1st time we will be seeking out characters. I know you can buy the autograph books in the parks, but I wanted to make a pack before we go with a few things in for him. I know you can buy the books on line, but was wondering if anyone knows if you can buy them in the Disney stores in the UK to save on the P&P price. Also what type of pen is best to use? A sharpie or would a thicker pen be better for the characters to hold? This is our 1st Disney trip with a child so I am suddenly having to think about things I have never considered before!

O ill b watching this thread we have recently ordered some autograph books from eBay and got the personalised if I can figure out how to add a pic I will. They only cost £6 and are very good quality

Hopefully this works!

I made autograph books for my boys and it was the high of our trip. Boys got more attention, more time with characters and good pictures. Will do new ones for our next trip. You can seen kid's autograph books in my PTR.

Sorry to hijack thread a little, just have a quick question.

What did you do with the autograph books when you get back? I made some for my 2 oldest children for our trip back in November and whilst the kids thoroughly enjoyed hunting out the characters for autographs - the books themselves have been stuck in a cupboard since we got back. They've told me they don't want new books this time, but will take their old ones just in case we meet new characters that we haven't met yet.
I may just give their books a makeover ;)

All their autograph books are in cupboard, but they take a look from time to time. And even if they want to take the old one it would be no use as they are almost full, probably 2-3 blank pages left. I'll make new ones for the trip. But if the ones you have still do have empty pages enough space for autographs I would say why not take them.
