Changing your resort and free dining

Does anyone know if you can change your resort after the 45 day mark has passed and the YMP code has expired. I booked a value resort with the free dining, but I would like to switch to a moderate.

My TA called and yes you can switch resort. BUT it seems like there is no avability for many of the resort. I tried for Polysian and Willderness and no availability they said. I also tried to get an extra day but that didn't work out either. I am going to the TA to find out if she could get us switch to another resort.

When are yall going? Trying to get a feel of how busy it is going to be when I go, Aug 25-30th..

I'm going 8/23-8/31. I have a feeling it is going to be pretty busy.

I'm going that week too. I was told there were no available free dining rates at any of the values left. But it was explained this way, even if someone cancels, there "free dining package" spot doesn't get put back into the system since they're no longer booking that package. So if the resort is full, it won't open up for more free dining spots. I ended up adding a day to my ressie but it was not part of the free dining package.
