changing were points are used from

Can I change were my points are taken from after a reservation? The reason I ask is I just made reservations for May and had to borrow points from my BLT 2014 UY. I just put a contract in on a BWV contract with 2012 banked points. When my points come in on the BWV contract (same UY same contract number) can I change the points to use all the banked points from 2012 before I start using the BLT 2013 points. I know I cant "unborrow" the 2014 BLT points but I could use them with the 2012 BWV points and bank the 2013 BLT points for next year. I know this in crazy but I literally had just made the reservations the morning the BWV contract came up and I had already used the 2013 BLT points and borrowed 80 BLT from 2014. Just trying to get maximum use of points out of what I have without loosing any.

I have done this several times - as long as the reservation was made at the 7 month mark (or under). I have had several CM's who told me that points can't be changed out when I called, or that there was a chance that I would lose the reservation. I usually just ask for a supervisor, who has experience in reallocating points without risking the reservation.
