Changing waitlist to replacement

We decided to go on a fairly last minute (for dvc standards) trip in January - I was actually able to get three nights together in a Poly studio. We need one more night before the 3 we have reserved, and I am waitlisted for both Poly and BWV. But I'm getting nervous that we won't get either because it's Jan 17 (MLK weekend) and everything is booked except SSR. So, if I book SSR now, do I need to cancel the other waitlists and replace them (since I still would prefer either Poly or BWV), indicating that they would replace an existing ressie? ( since the previous waitlists were not indicating that I wanted to replace a current ressie.) Or does MS do this?

I believe the MS would be able to update the waitlists to indicate they should replace.

You should just be able to call MS to ask them to add that notation. You definitely don't want to cancel & re-do the waitlist because it puts you at the end of the line.

I just saw that they have a TPV Studio at BLT available on the 17th. that would be one monorail stop from your Poly room and easier to get to than the BWV. You might want to consider that room.
