changing use year

There are 4 members of my family that own DVC...all with different use years....this makes it difficult to gift and loan points....is there any way to change useyears???

Sell your contract and buy a new one with the same UY as the rest of your family.

That's why it's so important to plan ahead as best you can and settle on only one UY. We currently have 2 due to being new and dumb and it isn't worth the extra work and problems that it has caused us.

No, you can't change Use Year without selling and purchasing another contract, but there shouldn't be a problem transferring points between family members since only the Use Year - not the Use Month - needs to be the same. You can transfer 2009 points between contracts without regard to the month. Once transferred, the points can even be banked into the following Use Year.

Of course, you will still be limited to one transfer (per Use Year) regardless.
