I'm probably going to buy 4-day base WDW tickets from UT or Boardwalk to save money. Because of the uncertainty of the pandemic, I'm trying to better understand how flexible the tickets are.
From what I've read, I can link the tickets in the MDE app and can change the start dates myself (and pay more if new dates are more expensive or pay a $50 fee if the new dates are cheaper). I also read that 4-day tickets expire 7 days after the start date.
My questions are:
1. If the original start date is May 2022, what is the latest date I could change the start date to?
2. Does the purchase date of February 2022 affect this?
3. Can I change the dates after I've received printed tickets in the mail?
4. How many times I can change the start date?
5. Is there a set expiration date, or does the expiration keep changing when the start date changes?
