Changing room/showers available at HHI?

I just booked a 2 bedroom for one night in June to break up the drive to Vero. I was thinking we might hang around HHI for awhile the next day. Are there changing areas and showers available at either the resort or the beach house?

Yes, there are locker rooms right next to the pool area. I know because last March I had to go change my swim suit there after I ripped a major hole in the back of it when playing with the kids. My wife went and bought a new swim suit in the gift shop while I waited wrapped up in a towel.

There are changing rooms, bathrooms and showers at both the beach house and upstairs between the Mercantile and Community Hall. There is also a bathroom available at checkin area.

That said, I've stayed at HH and then drove to Vero and I personally prefer to hit the road at least by 8, so as to SHOP all the outlets near St. Augustine (Greensprings exit). Then have lunch somewhere and meander a bit on A1A on my way to Vero. Not the quickest route by far, but I'm on vacay and want to see stuff other then other cars flying down the highway. Off A1A are some historical areas as well as beaches you can drive on near Daytona. There's also Merritt Island conservation area - we went off on some road (following a sign we spotted) near there and found dozens of Manatees near a pier and drove through a park trail that had alligators just staring up at you! Not a planned part of the trip, but was definitely a highlight.
