Changing room reservation after a code has expired?

I have a reservation right now and is it possible to change it even though the book by date has changed and still get the same discount applied? It is a room only reservation and I want to upgrade to another category at the same resort, if that matters.
 
Call the regular reservations line and ask for help from "Guest Relations" with changing a reservation made with a now-closed offer.

They may offer to help you on their own.. but stick to asking for Guest Relations -- because the front line reps will go in and see zero availability on the 'dead' offercode. And tell you there's nothing available.

The Guest Relations folks can do it properly.

Guest Services won't take the call for that. We can fix it, it's jsut a matter of getting an agent that nows how. If they can't, then they're supposed to call gs. The only reason for that should be having to change a package code or from room only to package or vice versa.

Interesting. I've modified a post-promo reservation numerous times and have never had an CRO agent who was able to do it directly, since I was told it had to be accessed via GS systems. It was either; mediated between CRO/GS or directly with GS.

You shouldn't have any issues providing they have availability. I've changed categories and resorts after my pin had expired several times (we can be a bit indecisive) and have never had an issue - but again, it will depend on whether or not they have availability. Good luck!
