Anyone ever experienced changing their resort after booking their vacation? Is it hard or expensive?

Might be doing just that. Found out ex is working in or near resort where I booked.

Any information is GREATLY appreciated.

If you booked directly with Disney, I would call and tell them you'd like to change resorts. Sometimes they will let you transfer your deposit and sometimes they will re-book with a new deposit and then refund your existing one. If you booked a room only reservation, it may be easier to make a switch - but I'm not 100% on that.

Your best bet is to call 407 WDISNEY.

Hope this helps.

As long as there is availability where you want to stay it won't be a problem. Let us know which one you choose.

Thank you for your advice! I called Disney and explained the situation. They immediately rebooked me at another resort at no additional charge. Now I don't have to worry about the ex bothering me.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
