If you change resorts during your stay (thinking allstar suite and AKL), does that mean you have to book two packages? Meaning your park tickets end up costing more because they are two shorter stays? And is changing resorts much of a hassle? TIA!

When you say 'packages' do you mean just hotel and tickets or are you also doing the DDP?

If just hotel and tickets ~ you can purchase your ticket with the first hotel as a package and buy the ticket for the nuber of days of your entire length of stay. Then book second hotel as room only.

Oh, forgot to answer the second question. I don't think changing resorts is a hassle at all ~ figure on 15-30 minutes at each resort to take care of check-out/check-in and luggage transfer - less time if you have your own car.

Thanks! I hadn't decided yet whether to add the dp since they changed it. But it's good to know you can get your tickets for length of stay! If we add dp can we do that for length of stay? I guess maybe it doesn't matter since the price for dp is the same anyway.

Can't help on the package question. But remember that if you decide to do a split stay, you've got to pack/unpack twice and you are "homeless" for most of the changeover day so an afternoon nap/pool probably isn't in the cards for that day.

If you book the dining plan you have to buy at least a 1 day MYW base ticket. So it wouldn't work in your situation, if you are trying to cut costs.

For instance we are doing a split stay this December:

AKL Dec 1-5 : 4 nights lodging, 8 day MYW park hoppers, dining plan

CSR Dec 5-9 : 4 nights lodging, 1 day MYW base ticket, dining plan

If you choose to not do the dining plan on the AKL (which really doesn't make sense) then the dining plan would expire the night you check out of All Star.

I believe but I could be wrong:confused3 that you have to have at least a 3 night minimum stay at a resort to purchase the dining plan

Confused? Think I confused myself
