Is there some service that Disney provides for them to move your baggage from one hotel at DL resort to another. we want to stay 2 nights at Disneyland Hotel and 2 nights at Grand Californian.

sorry, I don't know as I have never changed hotels during a trip to DLR.

I suppose we could drag it over ourselves, but it kinda defeats the purpose of staying at a DL resort hotel if we have to spend time doing that in the morning.

Can't you just bring it down and ask for Bell Services to take it to the next resort?

We just got back last night from our vacation which included one night in the DL resort and 5 nights at the Grand California. We are DVC members and could only get 3 nights at the Grand California, so we stayed on reservation points the first night and last 2 nights. We had a rental car and just drove our luggage over to the Grand California ourselves, where bell services took it to our room, which was ready. When we changed to our last room, it wasn't ready and we had to have bell services hold our luggage until we could check in later that afternoon. I will say that all 4 of us actually preferred the DL resort, and we even thought of changing back to the DL resort the last 2 nights but couldn't. At the Disnelyland Resort, we had a great room with the headboard that had the castle/fireworks on it that lit up at night and played "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" when you pressed a button. Our boys are 15 and 11 and preferred the pools at the DL resort, as did my DH and I. The resorts were both very clean and had great CMs working the desks. We also found both locations to be very convenient to walk to the parks.

I was at the Paradise Pier Hotel this morning and heard a guest arrange for his luggage to be transferred to the Disneyland Hotel. Except it wasn't Bell Services, it was the Valet.

You're only purpose for staying at a DL hotel is to have them move your luggage around?
