Changing resorts at 7 months

New member here who has resv for May 13 using all of my 2012 pts and most of 2013 pts (AUG uy ) DW and I would like to go in Dec 13 for long wknd. OKW (home) resv will be made early Jan to make sure we have a studio room. Then at 7 months I would like to see what's available at either BWV or BCV .I am using 29 pts left from 2013 uy and would borrow from 2014. Total 46 pts at OKW but if we can switch would be anywhere from 46-94 depending on what's available.
When I try at 7 months do they just switch my points to a new resv or am I borrowing all pts from 2014 uy putting my OKW pts back in 2013?Think I know the answer but not positive. Thanking you experts in advance !!

Unless you want to borrow, they have to cancel the original reservation. The 2013 points would be returned to 2013, the 2014 points you borrowed would also still be in 2013. Then they would enter a new reservation using the 2013 points first, points already borrowed in 2013, then borrow 2014 any remainder.
