Changing resorts after 45 day mark!??

Okay disser's I need your help!
I booked a trip a month ago for 6 days 5 nights at pop for myself at POP. Im second gessing my choice and want to splurge for a Mod. Now my 45 day mark is next week the 26th. At the moment I cannot switch to a Mod but the week after the 26th I will be able to. What kind of charges/fee's will be added...and can I even do this thanks for the help!

I called WDW previously to ask about this and was told one can do this. There is no change fee to upgrade a reservation; it would only apply if you stay in the same category or downgrade.

As long as its available you can switch. There shouldnt be any charges since youre upgrading and paying more

I switched from ASMu suite to AKL on my 45 day mark and only had to pay the difference in the resort cost!

Switched from value to CBR on pay 4 get 3 free within 24 hours of booking. It was dependent upon the resort room availability for the package offered. If you don't get it first time call again and again. I eventually upgraded my inlaws to the same package but it took 3-4 days.

I changed from a value to a mod about 5 days before my trip and as long as the package you are looking for is available you can switch with no additional fees other than what is the increased cost of the mod. You are only charged a change fee if you are downgrading your package.

I booked our April trip at the 45 day. mark.It was a last minute trip. I got great airfare and wanted to take advantage of the 4/3 deal. That being said I changed our hotel 3 times and only paid the difference between a value and mod. When I switched the last time between 2 mods., there was no charge as it was an even exchange.
