This is a little confusing, so bear with me, please!

If I book a villa at BCV using BCV points at the 11 mth mark, can I then switch the reservation to use my OKW points at the 7 mth mark?

The reason I ask is that we are trying to book two vacations and I only have enough bcv points for one room and enough rented OKW points for the second, but we want to stay at BCV both times. If I change the reservation at 7 mths to OKW pts it would free up my BCV points to book the second vacation.

Does this make sense? Is it cheating?

Thanks for any help you have!

This would work if there is availbility at BCV at 7 months, meaning what you are actually doing is cancelling the first reservation, then booking a new one, which can only be done if there is availibility... because once you cancell the first reservation it is suppossed to automatically kick over to the waitlist. I will say however, that thoughout the years we have gotten a variety of responses of how the waitlist actually works, so what you are proposing is in somewhat of a grey area as far as I know. Maybe others have more experience with this type of thing and can respond more completely.

You cannot swap the points because that would be the same as allowing you to book that stay on OKW points at 11 months out. They will cancel your original reservation and then, if there is availability they will make a new reservation with OKW points or put you on the waitlist.
