changing reservation online?

Can anyone else NOT change their booking to a new sail date online?
I booked a placeholder last month and it was showing up on my account as an Alaskan cruise for July 2017. When I tried to change it, it kept giving me an error.
I called yesterday and they said they have it as a placeholder and that if I had them change to an exact booking I'd be able to change the booking on my own in the future. (getting ready for tomorrow's release).
So I changed it to a random booking and now it's showing up correctly online, however it's only letting me change the room type. Not the sailing date.

Is anyone else having this problem? or do I need to call again?
I really don't want to be on hold forever tomorrow, I'd rather just change it myself online.

You won't be able to change the sail date to anything opening today online -- that is only for gold and platinum and has to be done via phone. Online bookings will be available online tomorrow -- when it opens to the public and silver.

Yes I know, like I said, I'm wanting to change it tomorrow. But it's not letting me change the sail date to anything. Never even gives me the option.

I tried to go online earlier to look at my reservation page and it is giving me a "We are unable to retrieve any reservation information at this time" message. I'm wondering if it's not letting you change because of all the reservations coming in today. Maybe the system is locked down

I've found the DCL site to be hit-or-miss whether I could modify an existing reservation to change the sail date online. Sometimes I could, sometimes I can't. It's frustrating, I know. I've mostly ended up calling to change a date.

As mentioned, a "placeholder" cannot be changed online.
