Changing points used for reservation

I have been looking for an answer in old threads but I haven't been able to so here is my question. I have multiple contracts at different resorts. If I originally make a reservation using points from 1 resort would it be possible to later have Member service change my reservation to use points from a different resort assuming it would be within the 7 month window?

you cannot cheat the home resort window.

they can cancel and rebook if there is still availability, but they cannot simply swap out pts from a different resort if you originally booked within the home resort window.

if you booked the initial reservation within 7 months of the stay, MS should be able to reallocate pts from other contracts.

Often by booking available rooms at 7 months or less and combining reservations, one can accomplish the same thing as substituting the points.
