Changing Passholder Best Rate Reservation

An earlier posting mentioned that there should be no charge for changing your reservation as long as the total cost of your room remained the same or higher. My question becomes if we want to make a change to our room reservation how would we go about it?

I've currently got an AKL standard view for 144 a night with taxes. We were hoping to stay at the Wilderness Lodge but figured AKL was better then nothing. Now i'm seeing Wilderness Lodge rooms available for the Dec 17-21 time period we're trying to book. Is there a way to change our reservation to the Wilderness Lodge room without loosing our deposit? Appreciate any feedback.

Good question. I think I would call CRO immediately before the WL rate disappears. There has got to be a way they can change it without you going back through the online process.

Definitely call CRO!!! If you book it online yourself they will consider it a cancellation, not a modification and you will forfeit your deposit. I was also told changing to a room the same price would be a $50 fee, but a charge more expensive there wouldn't be a charge.
