changing park hours early January

Last week when I checked park hours Jan 5 US was 9:00 now it is 6:00 any thoughts. Also It says Christmas is through Jan 3 will anything still be up on the 4th?

That is a little strange. I wonder if they are having some sort of corporate event is the Studios that evening. I'm not sure how quickly Universal takes down Christmas decorations. I decided to make a special trip on my arrival day the 2nd to see the decorations and shows at the parks. I'm returning on the 6th for the main Universal part of my Vacation.
