We are going to WDW in Oct, we've made our ADRs for our family of 5. Well, DBIL is now talking about maybe joining us for a couple of days.

Here's my question, is it possible to change an ADR to 6 people from 5 people?

This might not even happen so I might be worrying for nothing, DBIL is not the Disney type so he might not follow through but I thought I'd better be prepared just in case.

TIA

I would suggest just bringing along the extra person and it should be no problem. I have found when you try to change the ADR more often then not there is nothing available.

If you only have 5 people in all likelihood you would be seated at table for 6 anyway. For one additional person I have never had a problem just showing up.

You shouldn't have a problem going from 5 to 6. It's going from an even number to an odd number that can cause problems.

It sounds like he's very uncertain about his plans so wait until he knows for sure. And have him realize that if it doesn't work, he will be the only one that won't have dinner plans. I may be selfish but I wouldn't want to give up any of my dining reservations that I have already made.

I went from 5 - 6 people and when I called to change the # they cancelled the orginal ressie and then gave me a new one with a new confirmation #.
