Changing name on ADR?

Hi all, I'm new to the ADR game and I have a question.

Today in a bit of a planning frenzy, I booked my friend an ADR for Ohana for 6 people. She couldn't book it because she was working, so I saw it and snatched it for her so she wouldn't miss it.

But I'm not going on that trip, so is there any way to transfer my ADR to her instead? Or can I just give her the confirmation and I won't even need to be there?

Disney won't let you transfer a reservation to someone else, but whenever we've checked in at a restaurant we just gave the name the res was under. We have never been asked for ID so you can have your friend give your name when she checks in. Be sure she is aware that if she decides not to go to 'Ohana she will need to cancel the reservation by the night before or your credit card will be charged $10 per person because of the no show penalty.

Okay thank you for the information! I'm glad it won't be much of a hassle. I'll definitely remind her to cancel if she decides not to go, she's still in the planning stages of her birthday trip for next month.
