Changing Money

Was wondering if anyone knew where we can change our pounds into dollars, either around or in the Disney Resorts.

Changing currency in the US can be difficult, I would take $ with you and have a credit card for bigger/unexpected purchases. Also the rate of exchange may not be that good compared to prepurchase or credit card.

Bummer really, because we don't want to have to change all our money over there in case we don't spend it all.

Another alternative is to take so much and then use a cash card, Nationwide do an account that gives you a cash card and can use at ATM's with a good rate of exchange.

The Disney hotel front desks may change money but the rate will be poor as they will take commission from it.

Ah maybe we will just change up the cash and use our cards for any additional purchases.

The deluxe resorts definitely change money at the front desk - we did this last year - rate was fine as an 'emergency' but if you are staying in a WDW resort and spending at disney it is much easier to charge items to your room and then clear your bill with a Nationwide Credit card.
