Changing from studio to 2 bedroom process

i currently have a value studio booked at AKV. I would like to make it a value 2br. I know the 2brs are a studio and 1 br and there are currently plenty of 2brs available. Is it possible to call MS to have them change it for me or will i have to cancel and book the 2br value and hoping the waitlist does not grab the value studio? I really would hate to lose the value studio because i don't have enought points for a 2 br standard view. I bankd 50 2018 points and I will have 100 points in 2019. and the 2br value will be 140 points. I currently have a value studio and a club level studio booked. DH wants to just make it a 2br. I don't want to lose the CL . I mean it sleeps the same amount of people, but now he invited his mother and so 2 studios won't work. We would need 3 studios or a 2br.

Does anyone know what the cash price is for DVC members for a standard studio? And, when can i book the cash stay? We have APs, so i guess there could be a good discount in May 2020 when we are going. (and i could keep the CL)

is a value 2br a 1 standard studio and a value 1br or a standard 1br and value studio? or both a 1br value studio and value studio.

A Value 2BR is a value studio + a value 1BR.
