I booked FD during the spring for early fall ( offer 8/25-9/29). If I need to change our dates, do we do a whole new resize under the new FD offer or do we go by the previous dates which we are booked under and just change our dates? We would like to change check in to 9/28, that date falls under the previous FD but not the new FD. We are very flexible with resort choices, any all star will do!!! We will actually be adding 2 people ( total of 4 instead of 2) and upgrading our ticket selection, so hopefully the change fee will be waived! Advice appreciated.

You can change your dates for free dining, provide that it falls within the original free dining date offer and provided that their is still availiability at the resort you wish to stay at. Of course, if there is availability at another resort you can transfer there as well. The thing is, is that only guest services can modify your package for a code that has expired. When you call the customer service number the representative will try to help you, but in the end they do not have the authority to modify an existing code that has expired, so you must speak to guest services. In fact, all changes must be made through guest services including adding days to your package, expanding your dining (i.e from quick service to DDP) etc. I would call as soon as possible, since it is possible that your resort no longer has availability. Best of luck and hope it works out for you.

Because your dates fall under the previous spring FD, all you need to do is make modifications to your current reservation.

But like pp stated, it must be done by Guest Services since they have access to view resort availability under expired promo codes.

Also, adding additional guests to your current reservation is ok (assuming they fit under occupancy rules)...adding additional FD rooms is not.

Another thing to consider is when you booked your original reservation. If you booked before ticket prices increased in June, depending on how your CM make you changes you will pay the new increased prices. Espcially if you are jumping out of one discount code range to another (so in your case changing resort levels). I'd call as soon as you can I've been trying to move FD dates to the end of Sept for a while now and can't find any availability in the values and only the cabins in the mods.
