Changing existing reservation to AAA

I called AAA to get a 2nd opinion on our trip in Sept. There price was within $5 of the already booked package thru Disney. The operator asked if I wanted to move my existing reservation to AAA, benefits included a storytime and discounts at stores. Has anyone done this, is it worth transferring?

Also, is the Poly a good choice for a family with a 5 and 3 year old?

For only $5.00 I would not change. Unless you are going for the specific things AAA offers. The biggest advantage may be the special AAA parking if you are driving. Other than that, I have never used the stuff AAA offers. And this way you control the reservation and Disney will deal directly with you. If you move it to AAA they own the reservation, and you can only deal with them till you check in.

I love AAA when they can get me a big discount, but for the difference, it is not worth it to me.

Oh and not sure about the discounts you get. You may be able to still get them just by showing your card at the store. I don't recall what all they give, but I didnt use any of them. But it is just me and DBF when we go.

I like using AAA, and I use the 10% at WOD store in DTD, it saved alot for me last year for Christmas gifts and souvineers.
