Changing dining rotation

Is it better to do this in advance on the phone with DCL, or with the maitre d' once onboard?

How far in advance is the rotation assigned?

You will not get your dining rotation until you check-in at the port. It will be on your KTTW card. You can call DCL ahead to make a request, but it may not be honored. If you don't get your preferred rotation, you can check the Navigator and go to the restaurant that handles dining changes typically around 1:00 p.m. on embarkation day.
