Hi,

We have a February cruise booked on the dream, and right now have the 5PM show with the late dinner (8:15PM I believe). We much rather have an early dinner since we have a little one. What are my best bets on trying to get this switched? My travel agent already said she waitlisted us for early dinner. I was thinking about arriving to the port earlier then most to try to get on the ship first and asked to have it switched. Is their even possibility they will accomodate us?

Thanks.

I have no experience, but there is a chance that you could get upgraded.

We are doing a family cruise in January. Our party will have our 2 kids (2 1/2 and 7 months), and my 19 month old niece. We also have the late dinner, and are waitlisted for the early dinner. We are going to try feeding the kids early (either from Topsiders or room service), and then putting them into Flounders during dinner, so we get a relaxing dinner. Not sure how that will go, as they are usually asleep by then, but we are going to try it. Alternatively, one couple of the 3 will stay back each night and watch the kidlets. Anyways, an idea to consider.

If your kids are older than 3, there is a program where they will bring your kids meal during your appetizer, and there are Oceaneer Club/Lab staff outside the restaurant to take them up to the club/lab while you finish your meal.

I know it isn't what you asked, but wanted to give you a couple possible solutions if you can't get your dinner moved. Alternatively, the whole family can eat early at Topsiders.

I just paid in full today for our 1/29 Eastern cruise. We were waitlisted for 1st seating and after I paid in full, I checked the website again (through TA Dreams Unlimited) and we were moved to 1st!! I am so excited as we also have little ones.
