Changing days on ticket?

I just bought a 5 day base ticket through Boardwalk Ticketing for my trip in August. Now that we’ve begun planning, I’m thinking a 6 day park hopper may have been a better choice. Can I add a day and change to park hopper once I’m at Disney even though I didn’t buy my ticket through Disney?
