Changing dates?

Hello all, quick question. We're booked (1br on rented points) for SSR April 16/17, something has come up and it might be better to go the previous week (9/10th). I've emailed the member to see if it's possible, but what does everyone think? I'm still waiting for MS to send me my Member #, so they really won't give me much answers. What kind of luck have others had with changing dates at 2 months out?

IMO, there is a good chance that a studio at SSR for an April weekend (that isn't Easter) will be available. Of course, the member will have to agree to make the change for you. Good luck!

I'm confused if you are a member or did you rent points from another member?

Both! We purchased a membership, which were still waiting for the Member #. But we also rented points to cover our first two days, and will use our own points to book the rest of the stay. But i contacted the member and was able to get the answer I needed.

Even when you receive your member #, MS won't talk to you regarding this reservation at all. When I rented points & tried to put a note on the reservation, MS couldn't help at all. I was able to call the hotel & have them make the note. But, in this case it will have to be the member you rented from. Hopeful you got someone nice & helpful..
