Changing dates with offer?

I booked a 40% with pin for my birthday trip in September. Since its still a ways out ya know things can happen and there is a chance that the date might have to be changed. If we do end up having to change the date will we lose the 40% off because by the time we change it the pin code would have expired? Anyone know? Obviously I'm hoping this doesn't happen but ya never know.

In the past when I have changed a reservation booked with a discount after the booking period has ended, it hasn't been a problem. As long as you have it booked, which you do, you can make changes whenever you'd like. When is your b-day? I'm going to WDW for mine, on 9/18.

Thanks! My bday is the 22nd. Our wedding anniversary is actually on the 18th so we'll be celebrating that as well while we are at WDW.

Last year I did attempt to change my dates on a 40% off room after the end of the pin date. I tried on 7, yes 7 occasions and it was not allowed as my code was no longer valid so there was no availability for rooms as they were no longer inventory is how it was explained to me by a supv. You can remove days but not totally change your dates. Hope that made sense.
