Changing airport with Southwest?

DD, DH, and I are booked on Southwest for roundtrip travel between Portland, ME and Dayton, OH, using rapid rewards points (so we each have our own reservation confirmation number). The plans at our destination have changed, so I would like to travel from Boston to Dayton on a different day than we are currently booked, but fly back from Dayton to Portland as on our original itinerary. Can I KEEP the return leg but cancel/change the outgoing leg? These were booked as round trip tickets, not one ways, so I am not sure if SW will let me do this. Any suggestions?

You should be able to. Just log into your RR acct and pull up the reservation and try to change the reservation. You should get a check box next to the flight you want to change. Select that flight and then the next screen is where you will enter the new airport info.

It is unclear from your change explanation, but if you want DH and DD to still travel Portland to Dayton and return and you want to switch only you to fly Boston to Dayton and return Dayton to Portland, then you'll need to call SWA and they will split your reservation to a different number so you can change the first leg for just you. Once you have your own reservation number, you can use the online changes screen to shop new fares and times compared to your current reservation.

I just had to do this for DW and I as she stayed longer (and a different airport had better fares too).
