Hi - I would call reservations and ask this question, but the people on this board often seem to be more knowledgeable about obscure situations like this
Anyway, we have an ADR for Cinderella's fairytale lunch at the castle in a few weeks. I made the reservation for 6 because my dad and step-mom were going to try to come with us. Unfortunately, due to some health problems, it looks like they will not be able to join us, in which case of course we will be a party of 4. I'm concerned that if I try to change the reservation now, they won't have a table for 4 available. I'm also concerned that if I do change it my parents will decide at the last minute to come (they really, really want to spend some time in WDW with their granddaughters, health problems or not).
Has anyone done this? Can we just drop 2 from the reservation or will changing it require us to start over, so to speak? And if I don't change it, will they seat us and just charge us for the 2 members of our party that aren't there? (Actually, I'd prefer that to losing the reservation
).
Thanks!
