Changing a SW reservation ?

Currently booked on the first SW flight of the day, on an internet, one-way fare. At the time we booked, the later flight (which we preferred) wasn't available in the internet one-way "bucket" so we went for the less expensive and less desirable (to us) time. This later flight is now become available at the internet one-way price surprise surprise - can we switch flights since they're the same fare bucket/price/date? Anyone done this? TIA!

yes, it's very easy to do. Go to Southwest.com, click "travel tools" and click "change air reservation". It will walk you through the change. HTH!

Yes you can. You have to cancel the flight first and then use the ticketless travel funds to buy the new ticket- it can all be done online. Go to travel tools at the top of the southwest page and then to cancel air reservation. Read carefully from there. At the end you should be able to click on a link to make a new ressie with your refunded ticket funds. Good luck!

It's interesting that this fare has reappeared... this is for the return Orlando to Dulles on Labor Day weekend no less! This makes me wonder about how well SW is doing at Dulles - here it is 2 weeks from departure and there are still $79 seats available going down and $49 for the return.....
