Changes to Port Arrival Time

OK thank you for that advice. Is your boarding number definitely tied to your PAT and not to the actual time you arrive at port?

I will choose the earliest time and hope to get there then, better that than to have a late time, arrive early and not be able to do anything about it.

Yes it is tied to your PAT. I would think it may not be perfectly exact but very close.

I think what I was meaning by that was that say you arrived much later than your PAT then do you still get your original early boarding number which was based on your planned time or have you 'lost your place' and they reallocate you a later boarding number because you actually showed up late?

I guess I'm clearer now and that your boarding number is based on your PAT and it shouldn't be a problem if you are delayed. Though clearly you want to try to get there at the assigned time.

You will get the same boarding number if you arrive during your PAT window that you will get if you arrive 2 hours later.

Around 12:30 they go to "open boarding" so it really doesn't matter after that.

Hi all,

I'm cruising on the Fantasy in just over a week and I just logged in to check all was okay with my plans. When I went into my PAT I noticed that the increments had changed from 30mins to 15mins and some earlier times (from 10:30) had opened up. I was happy about this as I was able to bring my PAT forward a bit. However, I have a couple of questions.

Has anyone else noticed the same changes? I'm hoping this is not a glitch.

Also, I am catching DCL transport from the airport and was planning to get to the airport about 9am. Do you think this will work well with my new PAT of 10:30-10:45?

We leave in 2 weeks not using transfers either and we just changed ours to 10:30am yesterday too.

well thanks to the heads up from the Fantasy 21/9 sailing group I too changed from 1pm to 1030am
we will be taking disney transfers from MCO (we are at the hyatt) and I think we will try to hit the 930 bus
very happy with this change

Many people operate best on an even hour/half hour scheduling. the :15 & :45 increments may be less "comfortable" for some people.

I didn't see a 10:15 option, but I was able to change to 10:30 am for our November Dream cruise. I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to get to the port by 10:30, but I'll be sure to report back about my experience. I hope this doesn't mean a longer wait at the port.
