Changes to Playhouse Disney

On the theme park board,rumor has is that there changes ahead for Playhouse Disney at MGM. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Little Einsteins will be added.

What changes would you like to see? I think it would be neat if Ooh and AAh were the hosts. I hope that they will come up with cool ways to incorporate the clubhouse. I really would like to see Handy Manny. Couldn't you imagine the tools dancing?

I would love to see a MM Clubhouse play area like Mickey's house in the MK.

I'd really like to see changes that reflect the current lineup of shows. DS-age 2 is a huge Little Einsteins fan. He wouldn't really recognize the characters in the current show, although I think he'll still enjoy it anyway.

Definitely MM Clubhouse. My daughter LOVES the show along with Einsteins. They will probably add in the new Tigger and Pooh show as an update to the part they have in the show already.

Do you know when the chagnes will happen? We are going in Feb. and saw the old show in Feb of 2006. Hopefully it will be done by then so we can see something different.

My DD(2) loves MM clubhouse. And she would love to see Johnny and the Sprites, plus the Doodle Bops. My oldest DD(7) reminded me that Stanley isn't on Playhouse Disney anymore. I don't know how long it has been gone. I get confused in the summer, since the change the line up for school age kids.

I was just wanting to ask which characters from what shows are there. I don't think my kids would know any of the ones one. We haven't had cable in a while. They loved Bear and Stanley but all I hear about now are JoJo which they've never since.

Currently it is Bear in the Big Blue House (with Pip& Pop, Ojo, Tutter & Luna), JoJo and Goliath, Stanley and Dennis, Book of Pooh with Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore & Piglet and is always hosted by Jamie (either male or female). I don't know how long Stanley has been off the air,but it has been a while I think. My 5 yr old totally remembers it, but I bet this is at least the 2nd summer it is gone. The preshow video includes PB&J otter (gone), Out of the Box (gone) and I can't remember what else. As much as we love the current show, it would be good for an update since the current target audience probably doesn't remember some of these characters anymore. I think Little Einsteins would be great!

My kids would love it if ooh and aah were there. They absolutely love them!
I think MM Clubhouse, lt Einsteins, Handy Manny, & my friends tigger & pooh would be a good line up. I hate to see Bear go, but I don't think he is on anymore either. My ds would miss him (it was his fav show when he was smaller).

We did the Playhouse Disney show May 2006 but didn't bother in Feb 2007 because DS didn't know most of the characters. He is totally into Little Einsteins and likes MM Clubhouse as well so would like these characters to be in a show there.

I was just thinking this today! My son is only11 months(2.5 at time of travel), but on Sat mornings we let him watch Playhouse Disney, and his fav is Little Einsteins. I was looking at the current line up of the show, and I was like, "What?? He's not even going to know who these characters are." So I dearly hope the rumor is true:

My youngest would love this idea. She is totally obsessed with anything MM Clubhouse. My older two love Little Einsteins so anything with them would also be a hit with our family!

So, the *permanent* Playhouse Disney show is outdated (though, I have to admit, I do kinda miss "my man Stanley!") - but, this differs from the Playhouse Disney Live Tour that kicks off at WDW mid-September?

Stanley was on at 5:30 am for a while I DVR'd it last in May I think it went off the air June 1st which is sad because DS 2 just started really getting into it recenlty.

I totally agree with everybody. My son loves MM clubhouse. He rewatches his favorite episodes on tivo all the time. Currently his favorite is Doctor Daisy!

My son loves that one too!! He loves all Playhouse Disney shows. We will be five in a couple of weeks and we are hoping to go next year and I would love to take him to this show again. We went in Disneyland in 05 and he was not into the characters from the line up then. He would love Handy Manny and MM Clubhouse.

Okay - so the Playhouse Disney Live on Tour! show that will be at WDW 9/13 - 9/16 will include MM Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, Handy Manny, and My Friends Tigger & Pooh.

I wonder if this is the basis of redesign for the permanent WDW show?

I think it needs to be updated too, but we will miss Stanley!!
