Hi, yes we were thinking that , do you know if they have altered any of the snacks you are allowed like pineapple floats.

Dessert has only been eliminated from the QS meals. TS meals still include dessert. A non-alcoholic beverage is included with all meals.Hi, I have read that Disney have changed the dining plan and have taken the desert away but given you two snacks. can you tell me if you still get a drink included with each meal .
thanks

Last September we booked free dining for August. I thought it was 2 cs and 1 snack. We usually just get another side because we do not like dessert. So technically with this change we get one less item per day per person correct?
Do you know if it is still ok to give your band to someone else to use for quick service dining or is it like fast pass now where only the person on the band and in that park can use the credit. There is another family traveling with us so we just thought if we do not use all our credits we could give them one of our bands for them to use (we do not plan to spend all our time together)
If it's available as a snack credit (most are) you can. However every time I mixed snack and quick service credits I had to do 2 transactions or the CM would just not charge for the snack. I don't know if the software just can't do it or if the CMs haven't been trained how.Good info here. I've been so busy and just read about the changes to the QSDP.....after booking a trip with a free dining Disney Visa offer for August. I agree with "jpeterson" that some of the deserts are blah.
My question is, if there is a desert that I want, can I use a snack credit to get it with my meal?
Thanks!
That was an option last year, but it's been removed from the literature this year. So, no, at least not likely.I was wondering if you could swap your QS soda/coffee/tea for a snack item on the DDP? I'm unable to drink soda so I was wondering if this was an option. I'm considering the DDP for some of our October trip.

Posters have reported having better luck exchanging the drink for another item at the resort QS because many will use their refillable mug for their beverage. In the parks there have been only a few reports of being able to sub the drink. At many CS you might be offered a bottle of water.I was wondering if you could swap your QS soda/coffee/tea for a snack item on the DDP?
