Changes (DP related) Upon Arrival?

Good Morning!

Are you able to add on a dining plan option once you get to the resort, or does that all need to be done in advance?

If it does have to be done in advance, how far ahead do you have to call? And, do you have to pre-pay?

We're renting this time (check-in tomorrow morning); my renter has been GREAT! (I'm starting law school next year, so no buying for us yet, but we wanted to check out some options now as this will be my last time to really travel until after school.)

Our renter called to add on the QSDP for us, and it was showing up on reservation, but it's no longer there when I just did the online check-in. He had said we could just pay for that part when we checked-in tomorrow, but I'm wondering if it should've been payed for in advance and that's why it's no longer on our reservation.

I'm hoping there's a way to fix it, but wanted to hear thoughts before I call/email him. Thanks!!!

Any changes to the dining plan must be made with MS at least 48 hours prior to your arrival date. The front desk is unable to add/remove/change the dining plan.

There are reports that since the system upgrade on 10/13 of the dining plan not showing on the itinerary but DVC has confirmed that the plan is on the reservation.

I just skimmed through the front page of this board and saw that the system had been upgraded; our plan was added on well before 10/13, so hopefully it'll still be OK when we arrive.

Just an update and one last thanks for your help...

I went ahead and emailed my renter; he got back to me in less than 5 minutes! Called and said that they have a lot of issues with things not showing up (just as you said), but that it's still all set to go!

Here's to hoping I can make it through the work day! So ready to be on that plane!!!

Dining plans added to reservations prior to the upgrade are still paid for at check in. Dining plans added after the upgrade are paid for when added to the Travel Plan.
