I need some opinions here.
So, some friends and I are going down to Orlando next month and flights booked through JetBlue. The original flights had us leaving from a local, convenient airport at 7:50 pm and landing in Orlando at 10:30 pm. The goal was not to miss work that day.
Just got an email from JetBlue telling me the flight was changed to 8:55 pm, landing at 11:30 pm! By the time we get to POP, it'll be after midnight for sure. And the kicker is, I just checked the JetBlue website, and the flight is now even cheaper than when we originally booked several months ago.
Anyway, it's not feasible for us to change to another time (too early, the flight before it is at 3:30) or another airport (no way to get there). Do you think it's worth my time to call and see if they can at least refund my money to match what they are selling the tickets for now? My DH thinks so, but I wanted to get some other opinions. An hour might not seem like a lot, but it's really messing up my plans. (This the second time JetBlue has changed my flight less than a month before and the latest in a string of problems I've had with them...sadly they're one of only a handful of airlines that flies out of our local airport. Still, I've about had it and plan on avoiding them in the future.)
Anyway, sorry for rambling. I appreciate any input on this!
