Change to Deluxe Dining Plan at Check-In?

Hi all! Can you change from the Dining Plan to Deluxe Dining Plan at your Hotel Check-In? We are staying at BC in 02/11. Not sure if we want to upgrade yet, but would like to have the option at check in if possible?

No, you have to upgrade at least 72 hours before your check-in date.

I don't know what their reasoning is, but it's Disney policy that you must add or make changes to your DDP at least 73 hours before check-in.
