Change specialty dining onboard for another stateroom

We're cruising with friends in another stateroom. Our reservations are linked. We have Remy dessert reservations at the same time and Palo brunch reservations an hour apart. We'd like to have both of these reservations combined so we can dine together. We will likely board an hour before them. Does anyone know if we'll be able to update their reservations when we board or if we will all need to go together to do it?

Yes, I have done this sort of thing as long as reservations are linked. In fact, you may discover that they’ve already done it.

Also confirming that we did exactly this in January since we were on before our friends. We didn't even finish getting the situation/question all the way out and they guy smiled and said "done!"

I'm curious to know how they got an hour apart to begin with? Did each party make their own separate reservations and a mistake was made? Just wondering but I know it's really not what you asked .

We're platinum and they're silver so we each booked on our opening day. We would've had to cancel ours to rebook with them and we weren't willing to do that without knowing if there was even availability for 4 at that point.
