Does anyone know if you can decide to stay an extra night after you've checked in. We are driving so we have an option of leaving either Friday or saturday. We only booked until Friday and thought we'd play it by ear. We're staying at the GF so I'm not sure if they're booked up or not. Also we're on the gold plan so can you continue with the plan or is it room only?

I don't know the answer to your question but I thought I would bump it up for you:)

We did that last year at Spring Break. I am sure it depended on availability but we did not have any problems with it. We asked as soon as we got there and then towards the end, we added the day. I was amazed that we were able to do it because it was extremely crowded. We did not even have to change rooms.

Good Luck and Have Fun!

We did it once. You may have to pay rack rate for the extra night. Did you call to see if you could add another night?

We were 'snowed in' at ASMu last February, over President's Week, and we were able to add 3 nights to our reservation. Our flight was supposed to leave Monday, President's Day, but because of a blizzard in the northeast it was cancelled so we initially called the resort from AK and asked to add a day. They said no problem, but since we had checked out we might have to move rooms. We went back to the resort to re-check-in and they still had our old room so we moved our stuff back there (we had already brought it to be stored since we woke up thinking we'd be flying home). Later that day, when we finally got through to the airline, we found out we wouldn't be able to get on a flight until Thursday night!!! (Even though it was kinda exciting that our weekend Valentine's Day trip had been literally turned into an 8 day vacation, we did have to spend lots more than we planned on extra days for the hotel and food, and of course more souvenirs, not to mention missing school and work.) We stopped back at the front desk when we returned to the resort and extended our stay another 2 nights without a problem. They also continued the AP rate that we had for the initial reservation.

If they have it available they will gladly do it for you. We have added days, subtracted days and moved to a different resort alltogether with no problems at all.
