Change party size... lose ADR?

Here is the scenario.......

A friend of mine is planning on joining us for part of our trip next summer, (like 5/6 nights in the middle of our two week trip). She is getting a room at the same resort as us and wants to do some parks and TS dinners together.

My question is how do I book the ADR's? Can I book a ressie for a party of 10even though MY party is only 5 people? Would it be easier to book two tables for five and hope for the best? And lastly, if I were to book ADR's for 10 and for some reason she decided not to go....would I be able to change my ADR from 10 to 5 people WITHOUT loosing it?

I would ask for 2 5s if you feel like they might not come or might change plans at all....it was so frustrating not being able to sit down waiting for my family to get there, and furthermore, they don't feel like they have the leeway to cancel even if they want to because they are obligated by you. However, if you are not worried about that with them, of course you can book it for 10!

Can I book both 5s under my name or should I just let her book her own? The only reason I asked this is she is not a "Disney" person like me and will probably NOT book at 180 window, also since my arrival day is first my 180 window will come up before hers.
