I had a parakeet named Pudgie when I was growing up. Snitz lived to 16 or 17, we were his secpmd owners, not his first ones. Do they have favorite spots? I was so glad we had window sills for Snitz to sit on.

My cats are Mixie (15) and Moses (6). Moses was dumped outside our house and we adopted him. I used to have a Siamese, Mao, who was run over by a 4 wheel drive outside our house. I still miss him. The driver didn't stop.

Now you guys have me choked-up because our wonderful tabby, Stimpy is no longer with us. We adopted him when he was 4 and he lived to 15. He traveled all over with us when DH was in the Air Force, including Korea and Hawaii. He was so gentle and easy-going. It's just so hard when they get ill.

to you, Kook and you, too, Princess. I still morn over my kitty named Kelly. She was attacked and killed by a neighbor's dog 5 years ago but I still miss her horribly!!

Our cats are Aladdin (17 - was my oldest DD's cat when the movie was popular!) Fatima (3) and Ninja (2). Aladdin is an old tabby but still gets around pretty well. Fatima is a Maine Coone and Ninja is a tortie.

This is my 15 year old Mixie. Her mother was a Norweigian Forest Cat and her father was a moggy. I think that she is very pretty and occassionally off...Just like her name. Her name is short for Mixolydian, which if you start on the G 'spot' (sorry, couldn't resist) on the piano and only play white notes, that's the mode.

This is Moses, abandoned and rescued outside our house. He's thinks he's a real "prince" and he spends his time sneaking into the two rooms in the house that are meant to be 'cat free zones'.
