People in Lansing, MI have been protesting the "government" side of no power. I'm sure a lot of people are just simply fed up. Knock on wood we were some of the lucky ones that didn't lose power.....which is a first as we usually lose power in a breeze!!

I can understand their anger! The end result of the 2008 problem we had was that our money-hungry, humongous power company then rated among the bottom 20 in the country finally got things shaped up in the past 5 years. We used to lose power every time the wind blew it seemed but the worst now is usually a 'flicker' or two and the power comes back on.
