OK...the girls' trip is maybe going to happen. Looks like we are going to cross the boundaries between regular and value season. Provided we don't change resorts, do I make 2 reservations, and we check out and back in to get the value rate for the second part of our stay?

Thanks!!

WDW CRO will quote you the going rate (ie. value/reg) on the date you ck-in. That rate applies for the entire length of your stay.

So, if you ck-in on the last day of value season, then the whole stay is at the value rate. (that's a great deal)

But, if you ck-in date is during reg season and part of your stay goes into the value season, then the whole stay is at the reg rate. (that's not such a great deal) To work around this you do need 2 ressies and you must ck-in/out. You might even have to change your room. Many people in this case try 2 resorts since they have to move.
