Change number in reservation

Hi,
I have a reservation for 6 at BOG on May 1st. I now will only need it for 5, as a friend who was meeting us in Disney will be leaving before dinner. Can I change it to 5? and if so Can it be done online without canceling the reservation?

We had one person who was not going on one of our reservations and we just told them when we checked in at the restaurant with no problems or fees. Not sure if they will always do this without a fee or not. Maybe someone else will know I also have called reservations and asked to take one person off before with no problems.

I had to call to change from 4 to 2. I couldn't remove the other 2 from the reservation online, unless I made a completely new reservation and cancelled the old one (in that order!).

You would have to find an ADR for 5 as you can't just change your existing ADR from 6 to 5. With that said, if you can't find availability for 5 and cancel your current one, just keep what you have and let them know when you arrive that there will be one less person. As long as others show up for the ADR, you will not be charged the $10 fee for the person who isn't there.

No dont cancel it, they can remove one person on the phone but you cant do it online without canceling and starting over. Call Disney reservations and ask them to do it.

You can call the dining reservationline to modify the reservation if you want, but it really isn't necessary because at almost every restaurant a party of 5 or 6 would be seated at a 6 Top table. I would just leave the reservation as is and when you arrive at the restaurant tell the CMs at the podium there are just 5 of you. As long as someone shows up for the reservation you will not be charged the $10 penalty for the missing person.

You cannot modify the number of guests online.
