I wouldn't go with Nine Dragons-its glorified Chinese carryout food imo. Try Teppan Edo in Japan instead.

I wouldn't eat at Sci-Fi... I'm easy to please and thought their food was terrible. I'd go to Starring Rolls Cafe for lunch I think... their sandwiches look huge and yummy and those cupcakes look amazing.

Have fun choosing!!

Friends don't let friends dine at Planet Holywood.

With all the choices at DTD, do yourself a favor and find another option.

Ragland Road, Bongos, anything...

Thanks everyone. We're now considering Liberty Tree, Kona's, Grand Floridian Cafe, Tusker House breakfast (and lunch) and Teppan Edo.

I wanted to eat at Jiko again, but when I asked hubby about it, he said "oh, is that that place with the weird food?" So sad for me!

I wouldn't go with Nine Dragons-its glorified Chinese carryout food imo. Try Teppan Edo in Japan instead.

It's so interesting seeing different opinions. I've eaten there 2 or 3 times now and have enjoyed the food each time.

I wouldn't eat at Sci-Fi... I'm easy to please and thought their food was terrible. I'd go to Starring Rolls Cafe for lunch I think... their sandwiches look huge and yummy and those cupcakes look amazing.

I've eaten there once around a decade ago and their food didn't leave an impression for better or worse. But, hubby has never seen the inside, so that's why it was on the list. Never thought of subbing a CS, since we're on DxDP. But I think I'll look over the menu, anyway.

day 1
I like CRT, but it is more for the experience. The food is not great.
day 3
I would pick Teppan Edo over Tutto Italia. The show is alot of fun and the food was great.
day 4

We thought Ohanas dinner was overated. The food was ok, the entertainment drove us nuts lol. We much prefer Kona.

I've been to CRT and I love love love Major Domo's Pie.. so tasty! But I have heard a lot of so-so reviews about the food, so maybe I just caught it on a good day.

We've now put Teppan Edo on our list for lunch that day. It's so hard making the final decision! I'm less than a week from my 180 days out window.

Again, it's so interesting seeing differences of opinion. I've been to Mama Melrose's twice and last time I decided we probably won't do it again. I think the food is fair, like what you'd find in a food court in the mall. At 'Ohanas, I thought the turkey was absolutely disgusting. I couldn't even swallow it. And the lady leading the parade drove me crazy because she was so loud. But the beef was good and it is hubby's favorite restaurant. He likes it so much, it's helping me convert him into being a Disney fan. His big sacrifice this trip is that we don't have to eat there every night. :rotfl2:

:)

Day 1
Lunch - Liberty Tree Tavern -> Turkey and all the fixings
Dinner - Hoop Dee Doo Revue -> Great Dinner show, Ribs, Chicken

My hubby is SOLD on turkey with all the fixings. He's always wanting me to cook him a turkey and thinks everyday should be Thanksgiving. lol Of course when I offer to teach him how to cook a turkey, he suddenly isn't too interested.

We saw Hoop Dee Doo last time (hubby's first time, my 2nd), but he hated the show. He's not a big fan of that kind of thing, which makes me so sad. But he loved the food, which is why Trail's End Buffet is on our list. Same food without the "annoying singing and clapping."

Did not know you were on Deluxe, are there not other signature restaurants you would like to try ?

We enjoy Flying Fish, California Grill, Citricos, Narcoosees, Yachtsman.

Also, just thought I would mention that Lunch and Dinner at Liberty Tree are different menus and while we enjoy lunch we found dinner to be awful. The meal tasted as though it were from a 1970's frozen meal, the turkey was inedible to our whole party. But that was just our experience.

I just had to comment and tell you how amazingly awesome your username is. I love Arrested Development.

Good luck with your choices. I don't have enough Disney experience to be of much help.
