change in plans!!!!

Has anyone stayed in doubletree at the hotel plaza at dtd? My son has a last minute exam so I will have to drive to Orlando all by myself and spend one night alone and then check into pop all by myself and wait for my kids to arrive. I'm trying to remain upbeat but it is a little disappointing. I'v e planned every last detail for a whole year and now its not exactly perfect! I know that sounds spoiled. I guess being at Disney even alone is going to be great!

All the dtd hotels are quite nice, why dont your treat yourself to an upgrade, like a suite? You will enjoy having some "you" time!

Thanks for the encouragement! I can't remember, since I always have my grown kids along, can I maneuver the cart at Pop to unload the car all by myself? I am not quite elderly but getting close!

i believe the luggage handler room cm's will help you... it sure won't hurt to ask! or, leave the stuff in the car 'til the kids show up
