Change in November/December Song flights from JFK to MCO

The earlier thread re: Song changes from La Guardia prompted me to check our flights...the times of all the flights changed (looks like they added flights) for our departures and arrivals out of JFK as well...I am going to call Song and find out how we go about getting on one of the new flights and set our seats again but figured I would let everyone know that they might want to check their flights.

Well...it worked out okay. DH is actually happy because our flight out of JFK is now 7:00 am, so we'll have more time in FL that first day (and we are early risers so leaving at the crack of dawn is fine for us)....our departure flight is 20 minutes earlier than the original flight but not a horrible change. And he was able to get us all the same seating arrangements for both flights--and I got instant e-mail confirmation. Thank goodness! I would recommend checking early if you want to keep any seats you already had...hope this helps someone!

I figured they'd have more flexibility out of JFK vs. LGA since JetBlue has a huge JFK base and Song wants some of it. 'Glad it worked out for you.

This happened to me also. My flights changed twice in the last two weeks. I have never had this happen to any of my flights before. Not sure if I like it, who knows what we will end up with by the time November rolls around.

Thanks for the info. We're flying Spirit, but other family members are flying Song out of both LGA and JFK on Thanksgiving Day. All four of their flights were changed. It actually works out well, we all arrive at MCO within an hour of each other now.
